Valhalla, the blockchain-based MMORPG has just received a giant-sized endorsement, with developer Floki announcing that world-renowned strongman and Game of Thrones star, Hafthor Björnsson, will be collaborating as the game’s official ambassador.

As you might have guessed by its name, Valhalla draws inspiration from norse-mythology and features intense, turn-based battles set within the Viking age. So welcoming a genuine real life Viking who boasts numerous strongman titles, including World’s Strongest Man and Arnold Strongman Classic, is particularly apposite.

It’s also been hinted that Hafthor will play an integral role in the Valhalla universe, guiding players as they strengthen their bonds with their Veras, and engage in dynamic in-game activities. The Icelandic strongman is also set to appear in future game events, starting with The Tempest Forge – a monumental feature constructed during the Unleash the Thunder community event.

In addition to his in-game presence, Hafthor will remain actively engaged with the Valhalla community, creating content and sharing exclusive updates. He will feature regularly on social media platforms and host monthly Twitch streams, where players can join him as he plays his own in-game character.

If you’d like to find out more about Valhalla then make sure to check out the game’s official website. It’s a free-to-play game with a player-driven, blockchain based economy.
