Joycity is heating up the competition within Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War, tasking you with getting your sails ready and your cannons loaded for the new Empire Invasion Tournament. Captains across the globe can heed the call and join in on the contest – because when dominion over the seven seas is at stake, that thirst for power is hard to resist.

In the latest update to Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War, you can look forward to flexing your piracy prowess across this epic naval battlefield. In particular, the Empire Invasion feature is a server-versus-server battle royale mode with only one true victor – a first for the game in seven years.

Old and new servers will have their own brackets for the matchmaking round to keep everyone on a level playing field across Port Royal. Strategise the best perks to allocate to make sure you come out on top – you can even cross over to your enemy’s server to wreak havoc when they least expect it. You can stand your ground to protect your home server as well – whatever it takes to conquer Port Royal and be crowned the one true Pirate King.

Every season will last for four months with over 50 servers duking it out on the high seas. Of course, to the victor go the spoils, with an exclusive permanent Base Skin up for grabs for the ultimate bragging rights.

If you’re keen on showing off your marauding mastery, you can head on over to the official Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War website or join the community of followers on Facebook to know more.
