Mahjong Soul introduces exciting Lunar New Year updates with outfits and characters

As the Gregorian calendar came to a close only a few weeks ago, many of us over here in the West are feeling blue. But across the ocean in the east things are only just getting started as the fabulous Lunar New Year closes in! And Yostar are celebrating in their hit puzzler Mahjong Soul with a major new event.
What can you expect? How about two new characters associated with the upcoming Year of the Snake? Sisters Hua Yubai and Hua Yuqing are leading players in the Floating Dreams Theater, and bring enough melodrama and intrigue to justify their roles handily.
It shouldn’t exactly be surprising that Yostar is eagerly pushing out an update for the Lunar New Year. After all, the calendar event is often known as Chinese New Year, and what’s one of the most popular cultural exports from China than the complex and rewarding game of mahjong?

But that’s not all! There are also four new limited-time outfits to fit one of the most important events in the Chinese calendar with the Echo of Rejoicing series. That’s two animated outfits for Kana Fujita and Zechsd, and new outfits for both Chiori Mikami and Sara. The Day of Celebration series will also reappear for a limited time, and there’s a set of new Bamboo-themed decorations being added to the gacha pool!
