  • Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is an upcoming 3D puzzler published by Snapbreak
  • Big Loop Studios’ successor to Tiny Robots Recharged is coming February 12th!
  • Explore and escape 60 distinct levels and take on powerful bosses

Snapbreak and Big Loop Studios have confirmed that their upcoming 3D puzzle adventure Tiny Robots: Portal Escape will be hitting storefronts very soon, February 12th, in fact! Based on the hit first instalment Tiny Robots Recharged, Portal Escape brings even more fully mechanised fun to mobile.

Tiny Robots: Portal Escape follows a simple escape room concept. However, you’ll have plenty of twists as you work to escape each level, whether that’s exploring alternative realities or meeting curious characters! You’ll jump into the shoes of the robot Telly as he works to rescue his kidnapped grandfather through all manner of technological escapades.

Tiny Robots: Portal Escape is coming to iOS and Android with 60 challenging levels, six minigames, multiple bosses, character customisation, crafting and a whole lot more! It sounds like a pretty complete package, with multiple language support to boot for you international players out there.

Robot rock

I do like the look of Tiny Robots: Portal Escape. For some reason, it reminds me a bit of Ratchet & Clank, and the promised features sound like a hefty package for mobile. You may recognise the name Snapbreak from some of the other releases they’ve published, many of which have caught our eye such as Timelie and The Abandoned Planet.

I’m always glad to see more releases that don’t necessarily try to push the envelope, but take a well-established format and seek to expand upon it for the handheld platform. If all those 60 levels are distinct and depending on the depth on offer, I can see Tiny Robots: Portal Escape becoming a longtime favourite.

But if you’re looking for something a little more out there, why not check in on the latest entry in our regular feature Ahead of the Game? This time we take a gander at the Palworld/Pokemon mashup Palmon: Survival!
