Serial Cleaner releases February 11th, letting you clean up the, er, mess

- Serial Cleaner, the upcoming stealth-based crime scene cleaner, is releasing soon
- Get it February 11th for iOS and Android
- Dodge the cops, clean up the mob hits and most importantly, don’t get caught
Working is tough, but if you think that you’ve got it rough, just be glad you aren’t a professional crime scene cleaner. Er, at least I hope you aren’t. But if that profession sounds like fun, you don’t need to get involved in the criminal underworld – just have a go at Serial Cleaner, releasing February 11th.
This is a rerelease of the original Serial Cleaner, with a little extra polish added. Your job is simple – head to the scene of mob hits and clean up before the police figure out who whacked who. You’ll have to dodge the coppers as you clean up, lest you take the fall, then scarper without being spotted; all of this and a great veneer of 70s funky fun add to the atmosphere of this Coen Brothers-esque setup.
Serial Cleaner is a humorous mix of stealth, puzzle and action. You’ll need to balance reflexes to deal with unpredictable situations, while planning the optimal path to get the cleanup done and be out of town. You’ll be able to nab it on the App Store and Google Play come early next month!
Life on mars
While I would have liked to see Serial Cleaner get a full-on remaster, I think being made available again for modern OS is a good compromise. One of our own reviewers, Harry Slater, did have his issues with the original when he reviewed it back in 2019, however. But I like the distinctive set-up, and I reckon for fans of other 2Dish puzzlers like Gunpoint, this’ll be a good addition to their lineup.
While Serial Cleaner may be a bit more fast-paced and frenetic than cerebral, don’t let that put you off giving your brain cells a workout. Just have a gander at our list of the top 25 puzzle games for iOS and Android too!
