- ReSetna is set to arrive on mobile sometime in mid-2025
If you’ve been craving Metroidvania action and you’ve already (somehow) managed to make your way through virtually all that mobile has to offer, why not check out the upcoming release ReSetna? Boasting over twenty hours of hardcore side-scrolling action, it’s coming to mobile soon, but you can check out previews now.
ReSetna sees you dropped into a world where humanity has died out, leaving only machines to take their places. But unfortunately, these machines aren’t immune to the ravages of time either, and when you awake as the highly-advanced robot ReSetna you’ll need to leap into action and reset the future.
As far as features go, ReSetna promises all that you’d expect from the genre. You’ll use advanced movement to dash, wall-jump and navigate increasingly treacherous areas, take on powerful bosses, explore seven distinct regions and even slowly upgrade your character with a Tetronimo-style upgrade system.
Reset it
The Metroidvania genre might be a bit of a cliche at this point, but I think it’s one of the most well-established and fondly looked-upon in gaming for a reason. It’s very hard to make one that doesn’t flow at least well, and the side-scrolling perspective means even a relatively sprawling map is fairly straightforward to navigate.
That being said we will, of course, need to get our hands on ReSetna before we know how well it lives up to its promises. A mid-2025 release date is planned, but if you want to get your hands on ReSetna right now you can find it over on Steam.
