Monopoly drops a new Valentine’s Day themed update with new house rules and a quiz

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Marmalade Game Studio and Hasbro have just readied a special update for Monopoly on Android and iOS. Come and celebrate love in your favourite digital board game with a series of limited-time content.
Monopoly’s Valentine’s Day celebration will introduce a quiz, a 24-hour free token trial, special House Rules, and discounts on select tokens and bundles.
The event’s quiz gives you a chance to be matched with one of four Monopoly tokens, each representing different forms of love. Once matched, you can use the token for free for 24 hours. After the trial, the token will be available at a discounted price if you want to keep it.
Alongside this, a House Rules event shakes up the classic board game format. Quick Hotels lets you build three houses instead of four, while Quick End finishes the session after the first bankruptcy.
Furthermore, Quick Jail allows you to leave on your first turn, and Starting Title Deeds gives everyone three random properties at the beginning. You’ll also skip over tax, Chance, and Community Chest spaces, making for a faster-paced experience.
To top it off, a brand-new set of Cupid-inspired tokens will also be available, while the Sweethearts bundle features two cherubs ready to take their place on the board this Valentine’s Day.
