Wizardry Variants Daphne gets a new Legendary adventurer with the arrival of Soaring Blackstar Savia

It seems we’re not short of Wizardry Variants Daphne news at the moment. In the last week, it reached a million downloads, and its official shop opened. But there’s more. The latest update introduces a new Legendary adventurer called Soaring Blackstar Savia. That’s not a name I’ll be able to remember any time soon!

Soaring Blackstar Savia comes with a few abilities that seem pretty darn useful. The first is Black Beast Feint, which increases Savia’s Evasion while making one row of enemies easier to hit. On top of that, when they successfully evade an attack, it launches a counter that penetrates Defense Power. Meanwhile, Soaring Beast Knight boosts evasion so long as you have a two-handed spear and light armor equipped.

Alongside this new character, there are also new Freedom Missions and Special Requests to complete, with some goodies on offer for doing so. For the former, Jet Black Knight of Freedom Missions, you can snag Unique Remains: Soaring Blackstar and Codex of Learning, among other things, by beating objectives and earning points. It runs until March 5th, giving you plenty of time to snag everything available.

Evasion is key

Meanwhile, the Limited Time Requests can be found at the Adventurer’s Guild with Clock Tomes up for grabs for completing tasks such as killing goblins and the Red Spinner Woman. That one’s not around for as long, wrapping up on February 19th. Finally, from now until February 26th, there are some Den Dispatch requests for you to tackle. By doing so, you will earn various iron ores.

If you’re unfamiliar, Wizardry Variants Daphne is a 3D dungeon RPG and the latest addition to the popular series. It follows a fairly straightforward loop of you delving into dungeons, gathering loot and becoming more powerful. I’m sure there’s a supposed reason for all of that, but let’s be honest, it’s just fun to get stronger, isn’t it?
