Odin: Valhalla Rising arriving at the end of the month, pre-registration now open

- Odin: Valhalla Rising now has an official release date of April 29th
- It’ll come packaged with cross-play for mobile and PC
- And includes 30v30 Battle for Valhalla co-op, as well as large-scale dungeons and boss raids
Kakao Games’ hit MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising is finally set to arrive worldwide, as the new release date is confirmed for April 29th. Set in a Norse mythology-inspired world, it’s already received over 17 million downloads in Asia alone, and with pre-registration now open, you won’t need to wait long to get your mitts on it.
As you might expect given its inspiration, Odin: Valhalla Rising will take you across many of the nine realms from Norse mythology, like Midgard and Jotunheim. You’ll be able to pick from four different classes – Warrior, Sorceress, Priest and Rogue – as you explore the realms.
Aside from its grandiose world, Odin: Valhalla Rising also comes packed with plenty of different modes and features. PC and mobile crossplay is a given, but the 30v30 Battle of Valhalla mode promises massive co-op skirmishes, alongside group dungeons and boss raids to take on.
To Valhalla
I’ve never been much of an MMORPG person, as I’m far too flighty to stick to anything for as long as many of them demand. But at the same time, Odin: Valhalla Rising looks to promise some prime aesthetic considerations and mechanics since I’m a sucker for anything Norse-inspired (I blame growing up on Skyrim).
The decision to introduce crossplay from the get-go is also very welcome, and various other additions such as Guild Wars are already in the works. So who knows? If you’re in need of something to occupy you, and grand battles for a spot in the hall of Odin sounds like a good time, maybe Odin: Valhalla Rising is worth taking a look at.
