Cookie Run Kingdom turns the heat up with its new Flame Awakens update

Coming in hot is the latest update for Cookie Run: Kingdom, which brings a massive wave of new content to the popular mobile RPG. Titled The Flame Awakens, this patch is headlined by the arrival of Fire Spirit Cookie and the mysterious new Mines system that changes how you explore, gather, and battle.
Fire Spirit Cookie, a Legendary Magic type, lives up to his title with a fiery skill set that grows stronger alongside other Fire-type allies. From scorching enemies with Ever-Burning Flames to unleashing Flame Hydras after falling in battle, he thrives on intensity and teamwork. Paired with the new Legendary costume Wings of Fire, he’s ready to melt through anything.
Joining him is Agar Agar Cookie (check out our toppings and beascuits guide), an Epic Ambush Cookie with a unique mimicry ability. Depending on your team composition, she copies one of five Legendary skills or selects one at random, making her both versatile and strategic. Her Immunity to Shackles buff and enemy debuffs also make her a strong support attacker in the right lineup.
All of this unfolds against the backdrop of Into the Depths, a major new feature centred on underground exploration. The Mines offer mechanics like Venture, Mining, Mine Battles, and Appraisal, letting you dig up Ore Vein Cards, Fossils, and Agar Cubes. The update also kicks off a new season of the Arcade Arena, with rotating battle modes that challenge you to strategise around different team compositions each week.
