Crashlands 2 is out now on iOS and Android, bringing fun survival sci-fi action with just a hit of comedy to it. We’ve already reviewed this top new release, but for those not in the know let’s dig in and find out just what awaits you on this lonely planet!
Following up from the original Crashlands, you once more play down-on-her-luck space truck Flux Dabes as she manages to get herself stuck once more on the planet of Woanope. As you might expect, he’ll need to craft, gather resources and build a base to survive, but something strange is happening to the planet that only you can hope to stop.
But where Crashlands 2 differs from others of its ilk is that it offers an isometric perspective for its action. You’ll explore various biomes and encounter a variety of creatures filled with alien critters to squash. Ahem, I mean, make friends with?
Just joking
Yes, Crashlands 2 may have a vein of irreverent comedy to it. But don’t let that distract you from the very real fun and challenge to be had here. As noted by Will in his review, Flux and her shenanigans have an undercurrent of early internet Newgrounds fun going on, and this is complemented by a genuinely robust survival crafting experience built around it.
Offering upgraded isometric graphics, more beings to encounter and even more beasties to battle with, Crashlands 2 gets a thumbs up from us here at Pocket Gamer. So check it out now on iOS and Android!
