With the announcement of What the Clash? earlier this week, you’d be forgiven for not thinking of developer Triband’s other top release, What the Car? But to bring it back to the forefront of your mind, What the Car? is the latest to cross over with hit social deduction multiplayer Among Us.
The (free) crossover expansion will feature a new overworld to explore, based on the spaceship from Among Us. You’ll also have access to unlockable skins that emulate the iconic crewmates to give your car with legs even more style.
Elsewhere, you can expect four new minigames based on tasks in Among Us, two new intermezzos that see you zapping asteroids and ejecting impostors from the spaceship at high speed. Finally, there are three new obstacle-filled racing courses to take on!

Before Skibiddy Toilet became the hot new thing to collaborate with, the Gen Z obsession was with the humble social deduction puzzler Among Us. Growing extremely popular during Covid, it’s managed to hold onto that popularity well into the mid-2020s, even producing a very well-received crossover with Vampire Survivors.
Meanwhile, What the Car? has been a frequent favourite during our coverage because of its interesting mix of comedic crash course racing and the variety of minigames it offers. I’ve no doubt there’ll be plenty for fans to enjoy in this latest crossover, although due to it remaining an Apple Arcade exclusive it does sadly mean that the rest of us on regular iOS and Android won’t be able to access it.
