  • NCT Zone is an interactive accompaniment to the hit boyband
  • It features the members starring in cinematic plotlines
  • Fans can enjoy a new detective theme with a variety of cards

The world of Korean entertainment is one where no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of visibility, and it’s a poor K-pop band that doesn’t boast at least one mobile release. Case in point with NCT and their own mobile release NCT Zone, which is set to debut a brand-new theme in its cinematic story collection.

If you haven’t heard of NCT, I don’t blame you. While this Korean boyband has an immense fanbase and is actually the best-selling of all time, they haven’t quite found the overseas success of other acts such as BlackPink or mega-hit BTS. As you might expect though, what fans they do have overseas are just as devoted as Korean ones.

It’s little surprise then that NCT Zone, which features a great variety of modes and cinematic storylines starring the band members in a variety of different plotlines, has so many permutations. Such as the latest update which casts them as Detectives in the brand-new theme.

Take that

To celebrate the launch of this new theme, you’ll be able to participate in a new event called NCT File by Detective Czennie. Set to run from April 11th to 24th, it’ll see you participating by capturing the Detective theme card, complete with an NCT-File image and posting it on social media with a given event hashtag.

That’s right, it’s a social media competition! And winners selected through a draw get rewards of in-game currency. Meanwhile, an accompanying event offers further rewards for collecting detective theme cards.

But if you’ve read all this and still think NCT Zone isn’t for you, why not dig into our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week and take some of the best launches from the last seven days for a spin?
