  • 2nd CBT sign-ups run until May 15th
  • CBT kicks off May 16th in multiple languages
  • Set for release later this year

We teased a few details about this open-world aRPG late last year, and this time, Everstone Studio has confirmed its 2nd Closed Beta Test for Where Winds Meet ahead of its official launch later this year. This gorgeous upcoming adventure is inviting PC and PS5 players to get first dibs on its Wuxia-themed world, and yes, you can sign up now to throw your name in the hat until May 15th.

If you happen to be based in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Korea, you’re in luck as you’re in one of the regions that can take part in this action-adventure early. You can take up your sword across the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period, and uncover the intricacies of Wuxia martial arts presented with jaw-dropping visuals.

There are plenty of weapon varieties to wield depending on your playstyle, whether you’re bringing on the pain with your dual blades or keeping things unexpected with your umbrella or fan.

You can also master techniques such as Acupuncture Hitting, Lion’s Roar, and Merciful Picking – as to how you can use these to your advantage in combat, you’ll just have to play to find out, won’t you?

The CBT itself will kick off on May 16th, with multi-language support in English, Japanese, and Korean. Personally, with the way it’s giving off Ghost of Tsushima-esque vibes, I’m looking forward to giving this a go myself.

In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Where Winds Meet on the official website. You can also join the community of followers on the official Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments, or take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.
