Grand Summoners, like brain-teasing contemporary Puzzle & Dragons, is well-known for its anime and manga crossovers. Now, fans of Rurouni Kenshin will be able to unlock fully-voiced versions of their favourite characters such as Kenshin Himura, Sanosuke Sagara, Hajime Saito and Makoto Shishio, complete with their recognisable weapons to boot.
There’s plenty of reasons to check in before the event ends too, especially since you’re guaranteed a five-star character on your first roll of the new update. You can also nab up to 100 free Crossover Summon Tickets as a result of daily login bonuses, limited-time missions and more.

It’s interesting to note the continued popularity of large-scale anime crossovers in the RPG genre and beyond nowadays. Be it the previously mentioned Puzzle & Dragons introducing a whole host of unrelated Shonen Jump characters or Grand Summoners own bevy of crossovers that bring a host of new characters to mobile.
While Rurouni Kenshi may be a controversial series for many, it still has its fans. And no doubt they’ll be eager to grab fan-favourite characters as they appear in Grand Summoners. But in the meantime, if you’re looking to branch out a bit there’s plenty more going on in mobile to check out.
If you’re looking to find new weird and wonderful collabs, for example, why not dig into the upcoming Clash of Clans collaboration with sports entertainment icon the WWE?
