  • Grand Outlaws soft launches on Android in the US, with full release coming later in 2025
  • Features battle royale, racing, deathmatch, and deep customisation in an open world
  • Cross-platform play, story mode, and global rollout are on the roadmap

There’s a new sandbox in town, and it’s not here to play nice. Grand Outlaws from Hardbit Studio is soft launching on the Play Store in the US, and it’s going all-in on chaos, car chases, and open-world mayhem. Think GTA Online but shrunk down to fit in your hands and somehow still just as loud.

Rather than just slapping the open world on a half-empty map, Grand Outlaws drops you into a fully interactive playground where things blow up often and probably for no good reason.  You can jump between Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch modes, or just mess around with ridiculous skins and modded cars.

Cross-platform play is on the way, with PC and console support planned for later this year. But for now, Android users in the US are getting the first crack at it. A wider release is scheduled throughout 2025, including iOS, Steam, and even consoles like PlayStation and Switch, because why not bring the anarchy everywhere?

Hardbit is also teasing a lot more to come. There’s talk of live concerts, brand crossovers, and a full story mode with cinematic flair. You’ll eventually be able to deck out your own hideout, hoard trophies, and show off your criminal empire. If any of this reminds you of something your parents wouldn’t want you playing when you were 12… well, that’s probably the point.

Speaking about the project, the Hardbit team said: “We’ve helped create games that players love. Now we’re building a world with no limits. Grand Outlaws isn’t just a game — it’s our boldest project yet.”

Grand Outlaws launches April 16th on the Play Store in the US, with plenty more on the way. Check out the trailer embedded above to get a feel of what’s to come.
