The Solo Leveling anime is getting a beautiful Blu-ray to commemorate season 1
Solo Leveling season 2 just ended, which means it’s the perfect time to look back at where the anime started. Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it’s giving Solo Leveling season 1 a special Blu-ray treatment, with a conventional standard edition, as well as a limited edition release that looks absolutely gorgeous.
According to Crunchyroll, both the standard and limited edition Blu-rays of Solo Leveling season 1 will include all 12 episodes, along with a host of bonus features including special textless versions of the opening and closing songs; a very character-specific videos; the special episode 7.5 recap episode; and a documentary, called The Leveling of Solo Leveling, which focuses on the production of the original webcomic.
Along with those special features, the limited edition Blu-ray will also include a limited edition, 68-page art book that includes several hand-picked stills from the series and numerous interviews with cast and staff, as well as action director Yoshihiro Kanno. The limited edition release also includes several art cards, and a sticker sheet.
Both the standard and limited editions of Solo Leveling will be available on Blu-ray and DVD starting on July 22 from Crunchyroll. Solo Leveling season 2 ended in March, and based on the previous release schedule, it seems like the series will return with season 3 at the beginning of next year.
