Puzkin is a family-friendly, all-ages MMORPG currently in Kickstarter

With so many releases from major developers and indie darlings nowadays, you might almost forget the humble Kickstarter project. But there was one upcoming release we covered in late 2024 that’s now taking it’s next step, as Puzkin – Magnetic Odyssey is currently hosting it’s own Kickstarter campaign.
As we covered previously, Puzkin is an ambitious multiplatform MMORPG experience slated to come to both mobile and consoles, offering all manner of creative mechanics and action-oriented gameplay. This action RPG-style core is complemented by everything from farming, to fishing and a variety of social activities.
However, with this newest Kickstarter, the studio behind this budding franchise (Tokkun) have shown off their ambitions not only to launch this MMORPG, but also continue with the toy line and an anime based on it. The studio boasts an experienced core, something they hope will translate to a successful launch with this Kickstarter.
Puzzling
However, arguably Puzkin’s biggest selling point is it’s focus on online safety and a family-friendly atmosphere. With the bevy of crafting, interactivity and other mechanics it’s hard not to draw a comparison between Puzkin and other favourites of the younger audience such as Roblox, which of course has struggled with maintaining online safety.
At the same time, Puzkin is definitely ambitious, something that has been a shortcoming of many Kickstarter projects of the past. But, with a seemingly quite firm understanding of their long-term goals and an experienced crew at the wheel, could Puzkin soon be a regular feature in our headlines? We’ll have to wait and see.
