  • Build your Cloud Oasis and gather resources
  • Put your skills to the test in the new regions
  • Complete tasks for a chance to win big

A week after it was first teased, the latest update for Torchlight: Infinite is now here, bringing the season of Sandlord to the ARPG. And yes, with a new season comes new mechanics as well, which means it’s time to build and expand your empire in the Cloud Oasis to maximise your loot.

You can earn valuable resources by taking down enemies in the Netherrealm, then use these to unlock bonuses, trade routes, and economic rewards based on five different professions.

Corrupted divine channeler Thea also joins the fray, with a powerful Desecration skill that’s ideal if you prefer damage-over-time tactics in combat. I suppose she’s yet another proof that being bad can be so good (they do say that the Dark Side has cookies, after all).

Meanwhile, the Deep Space region has been overhauled to keep things interesting – there’s a new reward modifier item called Probes that can boost rewards. The catch is that monsters are now tougher, meaner, and riskier, so you’ll really need to keep your strategic skills sharp if you want to survive each run.

All this comes with new Legendary Stages along with the Sea of Rites – here, you can take down non-aggressive Goblins for a chance to conjure up a secret boss. And finally, the Sands of Fortune event will run until May 1st, inviting you to try your hand at new tasks for a chance to score from a $250,000 cash prize pool.

In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun within this ARPG, you can do so by checking out Torchlight: Infinite on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases.
