Monster Hunter Now introduces new Monster Outbreak feature

If you’re a Monster Hunter Now fan and (for whatever reason) you’ve felt that things were a little too easy up until now, you’ll be glad to know that Niantic has heard your pleas. Because the Monster Outbreak feature that’s being tested from April 26th to 27th promises to push even the most seasoned hunter to their limits.
Right now, the new feature is only being tested, but this means fans can get their hands on it and provide feedback. As you might expect, Monster Outbreaks involve a huge number of a single monster appearing at a given point. You’ll need to be within accessible range and team up with other hunters (groups only!) to take on these beasties.
The objective? Simple. Kill as many as possible to reach a target of 100. You can use the sign-up roster to register your interest and get an exclusive hunter medal, while completing the Outbreak gives a variety of monster parts as rewards.
Culling monsters
The first target monster for an outbreak is set to be the eight-star Black Diablos, and as stated above, you’ll only face off against this dangerous creature for the entire event. Monster Outbreaks promises to not only mix up the usual formula but also provide an extended challenge for anyone who feels ready to take them on.
Just remember to voice your opinion on the feature via the community forum or social media, as Niantic looks eager to find out whether the Monster Outbreaks are exactly the right kind of thing to add some additional spice to proceedings.
