The Battle of Polytopia, the hit 4x-like strategy from Midjiwan, is set to give its Polaris tribe a fiery new look. No longer will you have to contend with the ice, as now you can heat things up with the new Solaris skin and all the special abilities that come with it!

But woah, what is a skin? Well, with The Battle of Polytopia boasting over a dozen tribes (factions), the skins are a new way to offer interesting twists on them. Mainly visual, this can be seen with the Solaris look, which sees you being able to burn tiles around your faction and cross water by turning it into solid lava.

This isn’t merely a new look for Polaris’ existing abilities, of course, because this special skin will also unlock a suite of fiery new abilities that you can use in The Battle of Polytopia’s tech tree. Be that abilities such as Heatwork or red-hot units such as the Solaris Giants.
