Fans of Honkai: Star Rail, MiHoYo’s star-trotting action RPG, don’t need to wait long to jump into a wealth of new content, which is arriving soon. That’s because version 3.3, The Fall at Dawn’s Rise, is officially confirmed to release on May 21st. As for what’s in store for loyal fans, let’s dig in.

This update will see Trailblazers stand alongside the Chrysos Heirs to face the final battle in the Flame-Chase Journey. The previous chapter saw the Heirs reclaiming the Coreflames of Death and Reason, but now the challenge posed by the Sky Titan Aquila will be their biggest thus far.

Naturally, you won’t be going into battle alone, of course, and a new five-star character will join the crew in the form of Hyacine. This skilled physician specialises in supporting the team and restoring HP. She summons Little Ica to help provide continuous healing and sacrifices its HP to aid her teammates.

Fall & Rise

But Hyacine isn’t the only five-star character making an appearance. Cipher is one of the earliest Chrysos Heirs and has an ability that targets the highest HP target on the field. Recording the amount of damage said target takes, Cipher waits for the opportune moment to unleash a hugely damaging Ultimate comprised of True DMG based on the record of what her target received.

There’s even more to look forward to with Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3, such as returning five-star characters The Herta and Aglaea in the first and second half of the upcoming Warp event. But you’ll just have to dig into version 3.3 when it hits storefronts on May 21st to experience it for yourself.

In the meantime, why not dig into our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week to tide yourself over?
