  • Teamfight Tactics is holding another set revival with Revival: Remix Rumble
  • Experience the music-themed set with new augments and additions
  • Cyber City’s Hack mechanic also makes a welcome appearance to coincide with this revival

League of Legends has leaned surprisingly far into its musical associations these past few years. Be it the iconic soundtrack to Arcane, or the kookie crossover of idols and MOBA warriors with K/DA. But it’s in Teamfight Tactics that a fan-favourite set is making a return at 5PM PT today (which is tomorrow for UK readers) with Revival: Remix Rumble and will be available until July 29th!

But what exactly is Remix Rumble? Well, this music-themed set offers new augments that will enhance certain characters. K/DA champions, for example, are affected by the Mesmerising Performance and Rap Queen augments (but not just those!), which grant enhanced effects or twist up the gameplay.

The current set in Teamfight Tactics will also complement, rather than be supplanted by, the new set revival! Opening encounters will feature Hacks, the core mechanic of the Cyber City set. Encounters can include Ahri, who grants you Headliners that appear as 1 level higher, Akali, who gives Headliner champions a plus one to their traits, and Zac, who introduces the aforementioned Cyber City hacks!

Mashup

It’s not just these additions making a return, as the highly requested Revival Ladder is also making a comeback. You’ll be able to unlock new ranks and rewards for your skill and gameplay style via this progression system. Naturally, there’s also an event pass available for 975 RP that includes a host of Remix Rumble-themed rewards, as well as a new little legend with the Pentakill Siege Minion joining the lineup.

While Teamfight Tactics might differ quite a bit from the original League of Legends in terms of genre and gameplay, it undoubtedly helps bring the fun and excitement of the iconic MOBA to mobile.
