  • Unison League is set to collab with the blue-haired virtual idol Hatsune Miku
  • She and other Vocaloid idols will join as collab characters
  • There are also new branded cosmetics and other goodies for fans to unlock

Ever since being introduced back in the 2000s, virtual idol Hatsune Miku has taken the world by storm. And she’s no less popular on mobile, as her latest collaboration with ARPG Unison League aptly demonstrates. Available until May 30th, it brings Miku and other Vocaloid stars into the fray!

The collaboration will see Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len and Megurine Luka appearing as in-game characters with collab-exclusive outfits. You’ll be able to nab 160 Collab Spawns for free during the event period, with exclusive stickers and collab items also available.

Finally, of course, you’ll also have an EX animation with your character wielding a megaphone just for that added musical sting. And you’ll also want to keep an eye out for the Unison League fashion brands, Maid in Maiden and Made in Mister, will have their own collab cosmetics too.

World is hers

If there’s anything that this collab demonstrates, it’s the enduring popularity of the Vocaloid brand. And also, of course, the ever-popular nature of the collab crossover, which Unison League are already familiar with after partnering up with top series such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.

But in any case, after decades of popularity at a time when AI is being touted as the next big thing for art, it’s impressive to see that the mascot for a voice synthesiser software is arguably still as popular as ever with fans across Japan and the world itself.

If you get the chance to jump into the collab but find yourself at a loss once it’s done, we’ve got you covered.
