Claiming the Butcher skin is a quick process — one that doesn’t even require slaying many demons. In this Doom: The Dark Ages guide, we run over all the steps on how to get the free Butcher skin.

How to get the Butcher skin in Doom: The Dark Ages

With the Butcher skin, you lose the military-green armor and change it to a pure steel-gray color with lots of blood over it. This skin can be yours after you claim the free in-game bundle from Bethesda. To do so…

Now, you may be a seasoned player of Bethesda games and have already linked your platform accounts to your Bethesda account. If so, you just need to open the game and you will be notified that you won the Butcher skin. You can equip it by accessing the “Extras” menu and selecting the “Slayer Skins” option.

In case you haven’t linked your accounts, then you need to get back to your Bethesda account and go to the “Linked Accounts” section. Select the one in which you’re playing Doom: The Dark Ages and it’s done. Now you can enjoy the Butcher skin!
