  • Rats have popped up in the warehouse
  • Earthquakes are joining the chaos too
  • You can aim for the Hall of Fame for the ultimate bragging rights

After its official launch last month, Boxbound has now released a new update to add even more chaos to the already chaotic puzzler, tasking you with a little bit of pest control this time around. Aptly titled “Rats in the Warehouse!”, the update will have you dealing with exactly that – pesky rodents running loose at your not-so-beloved place of work.

In particular, the latest update (and apparently biggest one so far) throws randomised events in the mix in the form of troublesome rats, and to make matters worse, you’ll also have to deal with earthquakes every so often (becuase your job as a postal worker doesn’t seem to be difficult enough).

Along with the rats come three new boxes for you to unlock as well, with a new Hall of Fame to aim for so that you can go down in history as the most epic problem solver in the history of box-themed puzzles.

Now, before you go thinking you’ve got what it takes, remember this: apparently, only eight out of tens of thousands of players have actually surpassed level 1000, so getting to the top of the charts isn’t going to be a walk in the park.

If you’re on the hunt for something similar, why not take a look at our list of the best puzzle games on Android to get your fill?

That said, if you’re up for the challenge, you can join in on all the fun by checking out Boxbound on the App Store and on Google Play. It’s free-to-play with in-app purchases.

You can also join the community of followers on the official Facebook page to stay updated on all the latest developments, visit the official website for more info, or take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.
