Amateur basketball has a long and storied history and has been the starting point for both pro players and lifelong fans of the sport. So it’s not surprising that hits like NBA Street still inspire nostalgia today. But NetEase are set to bring that nostalgia to the modern era with the launch of Dunk City Dynasty, out now on Android and iOS!

What is Dunk City Dynasty? Well, put simply, this is basketball broken down to its most basic form. Rather appropriately, it has the slogan ‘Ain’t no bounds’, and while you may be able to play as famous faces such as Stephen Curry and Paul George, the focus is on fast-paced, action-packed gameplay.

Dunk City Dynasty, therefore, focuses a lot more on quicker matches, with either lightning-quick 11-pointers or 5v5 full-court clashes. All taking place in stylish locales and with the ability to customise your character for a fresh streetwise look.

With a whopping five million sign-ups, it’s not surprising that all the pre-registration rewards for Dunk City Dynasty have already been unlocked. But outside of those additional goodies, there’s still plenty to be excited about in Dunk City Dynasty with its bevvy of features suitable for any devoted basketball fan.

You’ll even be able to enjoy in-game commentary delivered by none other than former Boston Celtics player Kendrick Perks. Just because you’re playing on the street doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the flash of a full pro game, after all.

But in the meantime, if you’re looking to see what else is out there on mobile, you’ll be glad to know that it’s a sports-lover’s dream. Just check out our list of the top 25 best sports games on iOS and Android for a whole host of amazing releases ranging from casual arcade to granular simulation.
