  • FATE: Reawakened is set to bring the hit ARPG series to mobile
  • Experience all four of the original FATE releases
  • Enjoy procedural dungeons and remastered visuals with pre-registration now open

Sometimes it escapes your notice just how brief the history of videogames really is. After all, in a mere 40 to 50 years, we’ve gone from Pong to Fortnite. And as recently as 2005, the FATE series broke new ground by helping pioneer the ARPG genre! Now, you’ll be able to enjoy the iconic series for yourself on mobile with FATE: Reawakened, arriving soon on iOS and Android with pre-registration now open for both!

Reawakened is essentially a remaster of all four of the original FATE releases, including Undiscovered Realms, The Traitor Soul and The Cursed King. Essentially, you’re getting four entries of the defining ARPG experience in one package.

And an ARPG it certainly is, as FATE boasts all the dungeon-crawling fun that you’d expect from one of the top influences on the genre. Boasting procedurally-generated dungeons, five different races to choose from and seven companions to pick from, it’s got more than enough content to satisfy any dungeoneer.

But, of course, probably the most visible change to FATE is that of the remastered visuals. And while FATE has never really been defined by its graphics, these new tweaks and changes certainly make the lush, stylish and colourful world of FATE really pop.

And while FATE may not be winning any awards soon for grandiose design or concept, it’s certainly refreshing to have not one, but four releases that promise the simplicity of a straightforward dungeon crawler. So if you’ve never experienced it before, maybe now is the time to jump in and give FATE: Reawakened a go for yourself?
