You’ll need to hide in hiding spots in Fortnite to complete one of the Chapter 6 Galactic Battle weekly challenges. Hiding spots are scattered all over the island, but some spots are easier to reach than others.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to hide in hiding spots in Fortnite, plus list some of the easiest-to-reach hiding spots on the island.

How to complete the ‘hide in hiding spots challenge’ in Fortnite

The hiding challenge is a weekly mission as part of the Chapter 6 Star Wars season — it simply requires you to hide in hiding places. Although you can use the same hiding spot repeatedly, you must do so in different matches.

To complete the challenge, you must find one of these hiding spots and interact with it. The game will only count a hiding spots as a hiding if you use an official one — in other words, one that shows the “Hide” prompt once you get near it.

You need to hide three times to complete the challenge, and you don’t have to do all three in the same match. If you’re looking to complete this challenge as quickly as possible, you can enter a hiding spot, leave the game, and use the same spot in a different match.

Best hiding spots in Fortnite

There are multiple hiding spots in Fortnite for you to use, but some are easier to spot and to reach. Below, we’ll show you the locations of the three best hiding spots to go after as soon as the game starts.

If you want a safe place to land and already get one hiding spot out of your list is in the First Order Base to the northeast. While some players might look to land with you there, it’s rarely a disputed location. The hiding spot, a pink large piñata, is located considerably high in the region.

The second option is right in the middle of the map in the Seaport City area. You can find at least two dumpsters, which are hiding spots you can use. Unlike the previous area, you’ll find more action in Seaport City, so try to land close to one of the dumpsters if all you want is to complete the challenge.

Another great area for you to find a hiding spot without too much trouble is in the Canyon Crossing region, east of Vader Samurai’s Solitude. There are some mountains covered in snow there and below the highest peak, you can find another piñata for you to hide in. This is also a great place to avoid finding other players if you’re looking to knock out this challenge as quickly as possible.
