Subway Surfers celebrates Pride Month with new fan-made character and Barcelona beach

- LGBTQ+ character Berta joins the fray
- Explore the beaches of Barcelona
- Special Allies in Arts partnership for opportunities in the arts
As the month of June kicks off, Subway Surfers is celebrating love in all its forms with its special Pride Month event, welcoming a new fan-made character to the fray. If you’re all set with the 13th anniversary celebrations, this update now includes a themed environment for you to explore in Barcelona, along with a special team-up with Allies in Arts to round out the festivities.
Headlining this update is LGBTQ+ character Berta as crafted by fan artist Aisberg. The community was able to contribute to the endless runner’s roster of characters thanks SYBO’s latest Craft-A-Character competition, and to top it off, Berta arrives with a “Summer Eleganza” outfit too for some extra flair.
Given the theme this month, there’s a Pride frame you can flaunt all year, which is available to claim for free. It showcases your support not just within the month but every day throughout the year.
Now, as for the Allies in Arts partnership, in case you’re not familiar, this organisation aims to empower marginalised sectors with art-based opportunities, and a portion of the Pride season proceeds will be donated to the org. The whole event will run until June 22nd, so you’ve got plenty of time to take part.
