There are some releases with names that just baffle us here at PG. But when you dig beneath the surface, some of these are incredibly interesting and completely justify their bizarre name. As is most definitely the case with the newly released Amazing Cultivation Simulator, which itself bears explaining before you might consider a purchase.
The store page for Amazing Cultivation Simulator does a rather poor job of explaining what it’s all about. Between esoteric language and vague allusions, you’d think this was a farming simulator. But scratch the surface and you’ll find Amazing Cultivation Simulator to be truly one-of-a-kind, mixing in strategy, city-building and other mechanics.
Based on the xianxia genre of Chinese fantasy, you take on the role of the leader of a philosophical sect, guiding your members to enlightenment. In other words, taking them from mere monks and martial artists to bona fide demigods by selecting your chosen path through life. When the final stage is known as Heavenly Tribulation, you know you’re in for something intense.

Amazing Cultivation Simulator offers a variety of ways for you to achieve transcendence. Want to seclude yourself from the world and use your own inner strength? Explore the world to acquire strange, magical artefacts? Create medicine that’ll elevate you to godhood, or just create your own legendary artefacts? Amazing Cultivation Simulator lets you do all these.
Even that’s barely covering this pseudo-strategy sect builder and the wealth of content available in it. But for $12.99, you can dive into the mobile adaptation of one of the strangest but most intriguing releases this year thus far.
