Apple’s Design Awards saw some pretty big names take home accolades yesterday. Joining in on the excitement is the announcement of nine new games being added to Apple Arcade’s ever-growing platform. The arrivals include everything from card classics to quirky racers, perfect for a packed summer.

Leading the pack this month is UNO: Arcade Edition, a new twist on the Mattel favourite that’s now live on Apple Arcade. You can dive into solo matches with the familiar rules, hop into Quick Match to face other fans, or crank up the chaos with Custom Games that introduce wild card modifiers like Colour Showdown and Wild Swap Hands.

Also out today is What The Car? for Apple Vision Pro, a spatial reimagining of the 2024 D.I.C.E. Awards Mobile Game of the Year. You’ll also find Lego Hill Climb Adventures+, a physics-fuelled ride through blocky landscapes, Lost in Play+, a hand-drawn, story-driven adventure, and Helix Jump+, a snappy, vertical arcade hit that’s all about timing and reflexes.

But the real fun kicks off July 3rd with Angry Birds Bounce, a new Apple Arcade exclusive. This mashup of classic slingshot action and brick-breaker mechanics has Red and crew literally bouncing back against the piggy invaders. Each run combines roguelite strategy with chaotic physics, letting you build powerful flocks, master tricky shots, and unlock wild power-ups.

Also arriving the same day are three big names pulled from the App Store – Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD+, which shakes up the tower defence genre by letting you control two heroes per stage, Suika Game+, a viral fruit-merging puzzle challenge with leaderboard battles, and Crayola Scribble Scrubbie Pets+, where creativity meets digital pet care in a colourful, interactive world.

And to top it off, June brings a number of updates to Apple Arcade favourites. You’ll find updates for popular games like Fruit Ninja Classic+, Bloons TD 6+, as well as What the Clash?
