  • Puzzle & Dragons’ latest collab is here with Case Closed and Yaiba: Samurai Legend
  • Dive into new collab-exclusive dungeons for top rewards

If there’s one thing to be said about Gungho Entertainment’s Puzzle & Dragons (beyond it being their hit puzzler), it’s that they’re exceptionally fond of collabs. Therefore, it’s not surprising that we’ve got another major one arriving just before the weekend, as Detective Conan: Case Closed and Yaiba: Samurai Legend arrive for a limited-time collab!

For those not familiar with it already, Puzzle & Dragons offers an enticing mix of familiar RPG dungeon crawler and colour-matching puzzler. One of the originators of this not-unusual twist, you’ll explore different themed dungeons and solve puzzles on the fly to battle it out with deadly monsters.

Running until June 22nd, this collab features exclusive dungeons that offer a host of Quest Rewards. By simply logging in for 10 days, you can also benefit from a free pull of the seven-star plus Case Closed & YAIBA Egg Machine.

Draconic Detectives

While not well-known outside of Japan, Detective Conan: Case Closed is a well-regarded series for kids and teens that focuses on the titular Conan Edogawa, a teen detective turned back into a child by a mysterious drug who now solves mysteries while using his supposed death to hunt down the organisation responsible for it in the first place.

Yaiba: Samurai Legend, meanwhile, focuses on the titular young samurai Yaiba Kurogane, raised in the wilderness to be a samurai in modern Japan and his antics and adventures encountering regular society once more.

The Case Closed and Yaiba Quest offer plenty of great rewards, and players clearing a Quest Level will receive 1 Magic Stone, with a total of 10 available. Meanwhile, P&D Pass holders can (naturally) benefit from additional rewards.

But if Puzzle & Dragons and its oddball collabs aren’t what you’re looking for this weekend, there’s a host of other options out there for you to enjoy. Why not get started with our list of the top five new mobile games to try this week?
