Genshin Impact version 5.7 goes live soon with A Space and Time for You

As we head into the weekend, fans of MiHoYo’s hit ARPG Genshin Impact needn’t fret about having nothing to do. That’s because the whopping new update version 5.7 A Space and Time for You, coming on June 18th, introducing two additional characters, more story content and even a brand-new mode!
As always, the headlining addition for gacha fanatics will be the newest characters, Skirk and Dahlia. Skirk is a dual-style fighter who can use both sword and cryo attacks, with a special energy resource exclusive to them. They’re accompanied by Dahlia, who provides versatile support with shields, and an attack and speed buff!
The new mode, meanwhile, is dubbed Stygian Onslaught, and presents a rotating combat challenge with three constantly changing bosses and six difficulty levels that escalate as you play. But the rewards for this challenge are great, with targeted Artifact enhancements on offer.
Space Timey-Wimey
Things aren’t any less crucial in the story aspect either! After the previous ‘Bedtime Story’ quest, the Archon Quest continues, with the new chapter seeing the Abyss Order assaulting Natlan as part of a new grand plan. You’ll journey deep into the domain of the Abyss Order, accompanied by Dainsleif, to uncover exactly what their grand plan is.
And while there are plenty of events to discover in this latest update, you’ll want to keep an eye on the Sumero Akademiya, as they’ve concocted a new simulated adventure to experience. You’ll select Companion Pieces to form your party, empower them and then choose different routes and encounters to deal with.
The reward? Plenty of Primogems and the opportunity to add Sethos to your party! But there’s even more to discover, you’ll just have to check out version 5.7 to find out for yourself!
