  • Join a friend in foiling the fiendish Cryptic Killer
  • Aid each other, annoy each other, and get out alive

The mind-bending co-op puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is now available to buy on iOS and Android. Serving as the second entry in developer Eleven Puzzles’ Cryptic Killer series, Parallel Experiment promises even more shocking challenges and twists in your quest to stop the titular murderer from killing again.

In Parallel Experiment, the two detectives who stared in Unboxing the Cryptic Killer now find themselves at their mercy. The challenge is more dire than ever, and that means working in tandem with a friend to solve even more fiendishly difficult puzzles that put your communication skills (and perhaps even your friendship) to the test.

With its retro, noir-inspired world and over 80 puzzles to challenge you, if you’ve been looking for a co-op experience in the vein of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, then you’re in luck. For $6.99, you can jump in and take on the fiendish Cryptic Killer’s puzzles for yourself.

What’s in the booox?!

Oh, and did we mention that annoying your partner is a key feature? Yes, in case this all sounded a bit too professional for you, there’s always the option to knock a window or poke your co-op partner to add a bit of levity to proceedings.

Parallel Experiment isn’t just about the puzzles either, as you’ll also be able to take a break from the main investigation to enjoy some equally engaging minigames. You’ll even be able to interrogate NPCs that respond dynamically to each player. Teamwork isn’t optional here, and if you want to make it out alive, you’ll need to work together, even if it kills you.

But if you don’t have a pal looking to stress-test their brain, that’s alright, you can always dig into our latest list of the top five new mobile games to try this week instead! Featuring all the best launches from the last seven days for you to enjoy on iOS and Android!
