Dragonheir: Silent Gods unveils major new Reboot Version as it returns to mobile

- Dragonheir: Silent Gods is nearly ready for relaunch
- There’s pre-summon events with up to 250 free summons available
- Combat has also seen a major overhaul alongside summon costs
They say that you only get one chance to make a good first impression, but clearly, the folks at Tencent don’t agree if their choice to relaunch Dragonheir: Silent Gods is any indication. After being pulled from storefronts after it initially launched in 2023, this relaunch is intended to offer a fresh start for the D&D-inspired RPG.
This new version of Dragonheir promises streamlined progression with unified hero levelling and a reduction of grind. Combat has also been overhauled, with the elemental strategy mechanic changed around to offer hopefully deeper tactical gameplay. Finally, and most importantly for some, there are lowered summon costs across the board with more transparent pity systems.
With the launch just around the corner on June 10th, there’s also the new Pre-Summon Event to look forward to. 250 free summons are available by completing simple tasks, and you can look forward to a guaranteed three legendary heroes. There’s also the option to lock in your 100 best summons for early-game team building.
Look, dragons!
I don’t think it’s unfair to say that Dragonheir’s relaunch could either go very well or very poorly. With a reboot of this scale, it requires that there be a core gameplay loop that already draws people in, and if that isn’t present, a major overhaul of the central experience.
At the same time, for many who were put off by elements such as grinding and summoning, the fact that the focus here is mainly on the new pre-launch events and summons available through it may not be the most enticing.
