Dragoneer Squad: Idle lets you squad up with chubby dragons across an idle RPG, now in pre-registration

In case you missed it, Daerisoft (of Crystal Knights fame) has opened pre-registration sign-ups for Dragoneer Squad: Idle, the studio’s idle RPG on Android. You’ll build your squad of chubby dragons and fight alongside them in grind-free battles, with mythic monsters you can summon as you raid dungeons like a total boss.
Now, I have to admit – what drew me in at first glance is actually the app icon here, which features a derpy dragon sticking its tongue out at me and is just too adorable to resist. That’s not to say the teaser trailer below isn’t appealing – it seems you’ll get to unleash powerful dragon-based attacks across chaotic and fun battles, albeit in a more casual setting.
It all plays out in portrait mode too, with a variety of upgrades you can tinker around with to change classes, boost skills, and unlock Dragon evolutions as you progress through the RPG.
And of course, given its idle nature, you can keep on progressing even when you’re not logged in, making sure you’ve got lots of loot to grab each time you come back. The ads aren’t forced down your throat, either, it seems – you can choose to watch them only if you’re looking for extra goodies and faster perks.
