Warframe: 1999 has proven to be a fair fan-favourite expansion, offering a glimpse at the distant past of the Warframe world and plenty of single-player fun in its own right. Now, fans can jump back into the world of 1999 as the upcoming Isleweaver update is set to arrive on June 25th, and promises even more content set at the turn of the millennium.

If you’ve already completed the Warframe: 1999 quest, The Hex, you’ll gain access to an expanded area of the Kingdom of Duviri, where you’ll once more run into Major Rusalka, with the looming presence of the Murmur and Indifference. By collecting lore fragments, you’ll unveil new narrative secrets and be able to discover a new island with Scholar’s Landing.

Next up there’s Operation: Eight Claw, where you team up with Dominus Thrax to reclaim the aforementioned island and Duviri’s throne from Rusalka and the Murmur in this new Clan Operation. There’ll be more lore fragments to uncover Rusalka’s story, and you’ll be able to earn previous Clan Operation rewards through this too, all the way through to July 16th.

Party like it’s 1999

You may recognise a new boss appearing on Scholar’s Landing too, as the 61st Warframe Oraxia is available to battle. A specialist in weaving chaos, Oraxia weakens foes with poison and can summon spiderling swarms to aid her in battle. You’ll also be able to nab two new weapons alongside Oraxia with the barb cluster Scyotid throwing weapon and Spinnerex whip.

And be sure to keep your eyes out for new deluxe cosmetics and TennoGen, perfect for upgrading the look of your Warframe when Isleweaver launches.

Planning on jumping into Warframe? Don’t do so empty-handed; instead, be sure to check out our list of Warframe codes to ensure that you’re getting the best experience possible from the mobile adaptation of this cult classic.
