  • Pokémon Go’s newest Go Pass is here with Ancients Recovered
  • The deluxe version will also feature the first appearance of the Gold Bottle Cap
  • The cap is used to initiate Hyper Training, a new way to power-up your Pokémon

While summer may not be all that hot yet for some of us suffering under poor weather, for the rest of you, I’m sure you’re having a great time getting out in the sunshine. And if you needed any more reason to do so, then you’ll be glad to hear a new Go Pass is coming with brand-new ways to train your Pokémon!

The Ancients Recovered pass will be available to everyone starting June 23rd (with the Deluxe Pass also available from that time) and through to June 29th. You’ll be able to hop into random encounters with Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Regieleki and Regidrago with their own special background as part of this pass.

You’ll want to keep an eye out for a dapper Pikachu with exclusive red, blue and yellow accents alongside other themed Pokémon, while additional rewards such as Stardust, XP, Poké Balls and Candy are all available as part of the pass.

Ancient Secrets

Of course, the Deluxe Pass offers rewards such as these, just moreso. But there’s one interesting addition, which is the new Gold Bottle Cap. This new item is used to initiate Hyper Training that can be used to max out certain stats for a Pokémon by completing a list of tasks. These extremely powerful items will debut as an exclusive reward for the Deluxe Pass in this event, so be sure to check out our guide on how the Gold Bottle Cap works!
