Pokémon TCG Pocket announces new Eevee Grove expansion

• Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket has announced its new Eevee Grove expansion
• The expansion includes a whopping 100 cards focused on Eevee and its evolutions
• It’s set to arrive later this month, on June 25th

There are few Pokémon as beloved as Eevee, as this dog, rabbit, wolf, cat thing has captured the hearts of fans, young and old. So if you’re a devoted Eevee fanatic, then you’ll be excited to know that Pokémon TCG Pocket’s next expansion is devoted specifically to Eevee and its many evolutions!

Set to go live on June 25th, this upcoming expansion will include a whopping 100 new cards all themed around Eevee and its evolutions, including Vaporeon, Jolteon and, well, you know the gang, right? It will also include new display boards and binder covers to let you show off your Eeveetastic collection.

It’s not altogether surprising that Eevee is taking a starring role in this new expansion as the adorable fox, mountain lion… Okay, I don’t know what it is, alright? Anyway, this Pokémon is one with a truly stunning number of evolutions, so everyone’s likely to have their favourites to chase after when it arrives.

Eevee is here to stay

However, even with Eevee’s immense popularity, I imagine that some fans will be somewhat disappointed at the narrow focus of Eevee Grove. It’s only a small part of the overall Pokedex, after all, and some Pokémon haven’t had a chance to shine yet.

But at the same time, even for those not altogether fussed about Eevee, the simple task of expanding a collection will always appeal to a certain portion of the player base. And, as is often the case with TCG Pocket, I’m sure there will be stunning artwork to chase after.
