  • Run your own card shop in a charming seaside town
  • Make a living out of rare booster packs
  • Uncover the truth about the mysterious masked thief

Crunchyroll has officially launched Kardboard Kings, adding the charming card shop sim to its growing roster of offerings on mobile.

Thanks to the Crunchyroll Game Vault, you can enjoy its growing library of RPGs, battlers, and what-have-yous for the price of admission as a Crunchyroll Premium Member, and now, with Kardboard Kings, you can buy, trade, and sell virtual cards too in your very own card shop.

I mean, if you’ve always loved card games like I have, I suppose it only makes sense to want to run your own shop even if it’s only in the virtual world. This one will have you working behind the counter and struggling with the demands of your loyal clientele, all while a Cockatoo named Giuseppe guides you on your entrepreneurial journey.

It’s not as smooth-sailing as it might seem though, as you’ll not only have to contend with the stresses of daily operations, but you’ll also have to figure out booster pack rarities to either befriend your customers or rip them off because you’re sneaky like that. All these are set in a sleepy seaside town with an underlying secret, so you’ll have to be on your toes if you don’t want the elusive masked thief to get to your precious collection.

Curious to see if there are more cards in the cards for you? Why not take a look at our list of the best card battlers on Android to get your fill?

In the meantime, if you’re eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by downloading Kardboard Kings from the App Store and on Google Play. You can also join the community of followers on the official Twitter page to stay updated on all the latest developments, or take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.
