  • Marvel Rivals, the hit console and PC hero shooter from NetEase, will collab with top Marvel mobile releases
  • Marvel Puzzle Quest, Future Fight and Snap are all set to join
  • Details are hush-hush, but we’d expect big stuff come January 3rd

While mobile players may still be missing out on the hit hero shooter Marvel Rivals, those of you who are fanatics for the comics giant can still experience a new crossover coming early January that’ll bring the action to Marvel Future Fight, Snap and more!

As announced over on Twitter, Marvel Rivals (the newly released hero shooter from NetEase) will cross over with Marvel Snap, Future Fight and Puzzle Quest in an as-yet still hush-hush collaboration, starting January 3rd; more information has been promised soon.

It’s not the first time that the folks from NetEase have made their mark on Marvel’s mobile offerings either. Earlier this month, hit card battler Marvel Snap debuted an entire season that saw some of the lesser-known characters Rivals has shone a spotlight on such as Galacta, daughter of the planet-eating Galactus, and Peni Parker get their own debut cards.

Now, face a new rival

While claims that Marvel Rivals may be an “Overwatch killer” could be considered a bit hyperbolic, there’s no denying that NetEase’s foray into the Marvel universe has been extremely popular. And with that popularity comes a chance for crossovers to boost the popularity of mobile, in an unusual inversion of the classic collab twist we usually see where console and PC get the boost from their cousin.

It’s also extremely fitting considering that Luna Snow, one of the principal characters in Marvel Rivals, actually made their debut over in Future Fight before making her mark on the comics. As for what we can expect from this upcoming collab? I’d bet it’ll be fairly big, considering that the momentum NetEase has built over the holidays doesn’t show any signs of stopping!
