Squid Game season 2 saw Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) return to the arena for a whole new set of games. Intent on taking down the competition from within, the former winner faced the masked mastermind the Front Man once again to try and end the sadistic tournament once and for all. However, as you might be expecting, the path to victory is not always a smooth one, especially when lives are at stake.

The drama all came to a head in the season 2 finale, which was full of betrayal, heartbreak, and plenty of bloodshed. Most importantly too, it neatly sets up the show’s third and final season, which has already wrapped filming.
