The Lenovo Legion Go S was only recently announced at CES 2025, but you can already reserve your own from select retailers ahead of the Feb. 14 launch. Currently, Best Buy is the only place you can pre-order the new $729.99 handheld, but we’ll continue to update this post as new options become available.

While you can only pre-order the Windows-based version of the Legion Go S right now, a variant equipped with SteamOS will also be available at launch, and Lenovo has stated that additional configurations of the handheld will arrive in May.

On a cosmetic level, the Legion Go S closely resembles the Asus ROG Ally with its curved hand grips and offset thumbsticks, but is equipped with more powerful hardware. The Legion Go S boasts an AMD Ryzen Z2 CPU, in addition to double the amount of RAM and storage when compared to the original ROG Ally. The 8-inch display is also sharper, with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200.

However, the most substantial difference is its adoption of SteamOS, which offers a more streamlined, and user-friendly experience when compared to other Windows-based handhelds.
