Vahalla Survival unveils new details of what to expect in latest preview

It’s no surprise that the densely-detailed, melodramatic world of Viking mythology has been such a fertile ground for gaming. Just look at Lionheart Studios and their upcoming, highly-touted roguelike RPG Valhalla Survival that’s now in pre-registration. Ahead of their April 21st launch we’ve been handed new preview details to share that’ll give you an idea of what to expect on launch!
To start, aside from being delivered to you on Unreal Engine 5, one of the key selling points that Lionheart is eager to stress is the vertical interface being used for Valhalla Survival. One-handed play means that you can duke it out in 5-7 minute sessions on the go for quick, fast-paced action.
Not only that but for those of you looking for more hack ‘n slash action than these quicker sessions allow, you can also jump into Eternal Glory and battle endless waves of monsters. Pick from Warrior, Sorceress and Rogue with over 120 stages, 200 pieces of equipment and more; not to mention 240 monster types and massive boss battles.
Diabolical
Naturally, each class comes with their own distinct skill tree, of which you can activate ten separate skills each run in order to maximise your chances of success. While this ain’t exactly Diablo, I can’t deny that Valhalla Survival looks like it’s shaping up to be a worthy successor to the hack ‘n slash RPG genre on mobile.
The decision to focus on a vertical perspective may, however, not play too well with some fans. But with a planned 13 languages supported at launch and over 220 countries seeing a simultaneous release, a vocal niche may not matter all that much.
